About us

We are a family company that aims to provide high quality ceramics to you, in both our bespoke and production ranges.

Our journey began in 2010

We have worked in the  ceramic industry since graduating from the University of Ulster in 2010 where we studied Fine & Applied Art: Ceramics for 3 years.  Once leaving University we focused on teaching in the Community and went from place to place all over Northern Ireland, working with W.I groups, Men’s Shed, Portglenone Enterprise Group, Big Lottery Fund, Arts Council, Northern Regional College and many more. In 2018 we started developing new ideas to start selling ceramics to the public. We work with shops and customers to come up with a range of ceramics that is unique and individual to the client.   This image  shows some of our samples of work we create.

@ Tyrone Ceramics

All our products at Tyrone Ceramics are hand made using high quality materials sourced at Ulster Ceramics.  All the products are made from raw materials and mixed by ourselves. We have came up with a process that creates an eye catching and desirable product.  What makes our products stand out from the rest is the quality and detail put into the drawing of landmarks. This, in combination with our low prices, make this an ideal place to buy your  souvenir.

Landmarks

landmark is a recognizable natural or artificial feature used for navigation, a feature that stands out from its near environment and is often visible from long distances. In modern use, the term can also be applied to smaller structures or features, that have become local or national symbols. Every landmark has a history behind it and as you look through my products you will be able to read a little bit of history behind the structure

Bespoke Ceramics

Putting a personal twist on your ceramics.  This is an unique idea and that we can create here at Tyrone Ceramics.  We work with you to create your ideas and make them real.  We can print you images and text on to any piece of ceramics.  For example, in this image, you can see personalised money boxes that were given as a gift to pageboys on the wedding day.  I can also personalise tea/coffee sets, make family hand prints, print images in porcelain etc.  Have a look at our ceramics page to read more information and see more pictures.

Classes & Workshops

Workshops are very important here at Tyrone Ceramics; being able to spread knowledge of ceramics is a big part of the company.  Learning how to work with clay and the different techniques involved in ceramics can be very interesting and therapeutic.  Being able to work with your hands and create a vassal can give you a great feeling of achievement.  The different workshops we run here are: slab building, coiling, pinch pot animals, printing on clay, lamp making, painting on ceramic, glazing, kiln workshop, mould making etc.
